Jason Dorris, CMT
Jason graduated from Denver School of Massage Therapy in August of
2009. Jason is trained in Swedish massage, Deep Tissue massage,
Sports massage, Reflexology, Cranial Sacral, Trigger Point,
Acupressure and Shiatsu. Jason's favorite modality is a strong
Swedish massage. In addition to working in Kaiser
Permanente's Center for Complementary Medicine, Jason has his own
private practice in Lakewood, CO. Jason believes that we all
long for a quality, loving and healing touch. Jason strives
to provide an atmosphere where you can feel free to be yourself
without judgments which will allow healing to begin. Jason is
caring for patients on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at the
Midtown Medical Office, and on Wednesday mornings, and Saturday
mornings at the Lakewood Medical Offices.
Brook Henry, CMT
Brook is a nationally certified massage therapist who graduated
with honors from the Community College of Denver (CCD) with an
applied science degree with an emphasis in massage therapy. Brook
has completed over 1,000 hours of massage training. In addition to
working at the Kaiser Permanente Center for Complementary Medicine,
Brook has her own private massage practice. At CCD, she was a
professor's assistant in the Swedish Massage Therapy class, taught
the Ethics for Massage Therapists class, and served as director of
the massage clinic. Brook treats patients at the Smoky Hill Medical
Office on Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays and at the Lakewood
Medical Offices on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Rachel Weicht, CMT
Rachel is a nationally certified massage therapist and a graduate
of the Boulder College of Massage Therapy. She has performed over
1,000 hours of massage training. She has performed various
internships in private practice and has experience with Zen
shiatsu, Swedish massage, orthopedic massage, sports massage,
neuromuscular massage, integrative massage, and hydrotherapy.
Rachel cares for patients on Mondays and Tuesday mornings at the
Smoky Hill Medical Offices and on Wednesday afternoons, Thursdays,
and Friday mornings at the Lakewood Medical Offices.
Mark Perez, CMT
Mark graduated from the Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy in
Broomfield, CO in December 2007, and has been working with Kaiser
since then. Mark provides orthopedic, neuromuscular, and
sports massage. Mark is also a full time Physical Therapist
Assistant student at Arapahoe Community College. Mark hopes
to work in a sports clinic one day, but plans on continuing to
provide massage therapy with Kaiser Permanente. Mark works at
the Center for Complementary Medicine on Tuesday afternoons at the
Smoky Hill Medical Offices and Saturdays at the Westminster Medical
Offices.
Nancy Phelps, CNMT
Nancy is a graduate of the Colorado School of Healing Arts in
Lakewood Colorado and was certified with 700 hours of massage
therapy, and is licensed with the Colorado Department of Regulatory
Agencies. Nancy is currently pursuing an Associates Degree in
Occupational Studies specializing in Advanced Neural Muscular
Therapy. Other areas of practice include Swedish massage, Sports
Massage, Cranial Sacral, Polarity and Applied Kinesiology. Nancy
cares for patients at the Westminster Medical Offices on Tuesdays
through Fridays.
Valerie Simo, CMT
Valerie received her education at the Academy of Health Sciences,
in 1982 where she graduated as a massage therapist. Valerie
also received her National Certification of Therapeutic Massage and
body work, in 1994; graduated from Colorado School of Healing Arts
in 2002 as a Certified Massage Therapist. Valerie earned her
AOS degree from Colorado School of Healing Arts in 2004.
Valerie continues to attend ongoing classes and Seminars regarding
Ortho-Bonomy ®, Cranial Therapy, Trauma Touch Therapy and Essential
Oils. The services that Valerie provides at the Center for
Complementary Medicine are: Swedish massage, deep tissue massage,
and treatment regarding Cranial Sacral, reflexology, polarity, and
Ortho-Bionomy ® treatment which occurs within classes and
services. Valerie cares for patients at the Westminster
Medical Offices on Mondays.
Alison Stoltz, CMT
Alison graduated from the Cortiva Institute in 2007. She
incorporates various techniques including Deep Tissue, Swedish
Massage, Neuromuscular, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy
and Healing Touch. Her emphasis is on restorative and relaxation
techniques to promote physical, mental and spiritual growth. Alison
strongly believes in continuing education. She received her
certification in Pre and Perinatal Pregnancy Massage in October
2010 and was certified as a Level II Reiki practitioner in April
2011. In addition to working in Kaiser Permanente's Center for
Complementary Medicine, she has had her own private practice since
2008, which is now located in Lakewood. Alison treats patients
at the Westminster Medical Offices Tuesday through Friday
mornings.
Stephanie Jackson, CMT
Stephanie is a graduate of the Colorado School of Healing
Arts with 700 hours of massage training, and is licensed in the
state of Colorado. She has training in Swedish, Deep Tissue,
Sports, Pre-Natal and Polarity modalities. Stephanie is planning to
continue her education in 2012, taking Cranial Sacral classes. She
feels it is very important to keep up on education for her own
knowledge and for the benefit of her patients. Stephanie also
believes in eating healthy to help prevent illness, and lives her
life as an example by eating healthy, working out, and educating
others on the benefits of massage and healthy eating. She is
happily married and a mother of three young children who light up
her life and she enjoys spending time outdoors as a family;
Stephanie lives a very active, busy and fun life! Stephanie
treats patients at the Smoky Hill Medical Offices Monday mornings,
Tuesday afternoons, and Wednesday mornings, and at the Midtown
Medical Office on Saturdays.
