Providers
Brook Henry, CMT
Brook is a nationally certified massage therapist who graduated
with honors from the Community College of Denver (CCD) with an
applied science degree with an emphasis in massage therapy. Brook
has completed over 1,000 hours of massage training. In addition to
working at the Kaiser Permanente Center for Complementary Medicine,
Brook has her own private massage practice. At CCD, she was a
professor's assistant in the Swedish Massage Therapy class, taught
the Ethics for Massage Therapists class, and served as director of
the massage clinic.
Mark Perez, CMT
Mark graduated from the Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy in
Broomfield, CO in December 2007, and has been working with Kaiser
since then. Mark provides orthopedic, neuromuscular, and
sports massage. Mark is also a full time Physical Therapist
Assistant student at Arapahoe Community College. Mark hopes
to work in a sports clinic one day, but plans on continuing to
provide massage therapy with Kaiser Permanente.
Valerie Simo, CMT
Valerie received her education at the Academy of Health Sciences,
in 1982 where she graduated as a massage therapist. Valerie
also received her National Certification of Therapeutic Massage and
body work, in 1994; graduated from Colorado School of Healing Arts
in 2002 as a Certified Massage Therapist. Valerie earned her
AOS degree from Colorado School of Healing Arts in 2004.
Valerie continues to attend ongoing classes and Seminars regarding
Ortho-Bonomy ®, Cranial Therapy, Trauma Touch Therapy and Essential
Oils. The services that Valerie provides at the Center for
Complementary Medicine are: Swedish massage, deep tissue massage,
and treatment regarding Cranial Sacral, reflexology, polarity, and
Ortho-Bionomy ® treatment which occurs within classes and
services.
Alison Stoltz, CMT
Alison graduated from the Cortiva Institute in 2007. She
incorporates various techniques including Deep Tissue, Swedish
Massage, Neuromuscular, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy
and Healing Touch. Her emphasis is on restorative and relaxation
techniques to promote physical, mental and spiritual growth. Alison
strongly believes in continuing education. She received her
certification in Pre and Perinatal Pregnancy Massage in October
2010 and was certified as a Level II Reiki practitioner in April
2011. In addition to working in Kaiser Permanente's Center for
Complementary Medicine, she has had her own private practice since
2008, which is now located in Lakewood.
Stephanie Jackson, CMT
Stephanie is a graduate of the Colorado School of Healing
Arts with 700 hours of massage training, and is licensed in the
state of Colorado. She has training in Swedish, Deep Tissue,
Sports, Pre-Natal and Polarity modalities. Stephanie is planning to
continue her education in 2012, taking Cranial Sacral classes. She
feels it is very important to keep up on education for her own
knowledge and for the benefit of her patients. Stephanie also
believes in eating healthy to help prevent illness, and lives her
life as an example by eating healthy, working out, and educating
others on the benefits of massage and healthy eating. She is
happily married and a mother of three young children who light up
her life and she enjoys spending time outdoors as a family;
Stephanie lives a very active, busy and fun life!
Hannah Beggs, CMT
Hannah received her massage therapy certification in September
2011 by completing the 700-hour program at Colorado School of
Healing Arts. She also completed the Associate of Occupational
Studies program offered by the school in June 2012. Her AOS
included advanced training in Neuromuscular Therapy and
Oncology/Medical Massage. Hannah spent over 25 hours interning at
Porter Hospital and Hospice of St. John's working on patients with
cancer, other illnesses, and end of life stages. She has training
in Healing Touch and attends a monthly clinic to keep herself
grounded. It gives her a genuine sense of joy to see the anatomical
and physiological responses the human body can have from touch
alone. Hannah believes body awareness and the power of
patient/client knowledge can set a foundation to allow the body to
heal from within. She enjoys spending time with her rescued dog and
admires the beauty of nature that is all around us.
Bea Green, CMT, CEBS
Bea graduated from the Colorado School of Healing Arts in June
2011.The massage modalities Bea provides are Swedish, Deep Tissue,
Neuromuscular, Pre-Natal, Sports, and Trigger Point Pressure
Release. In addition to working at the Kaiser Permanente Center for
Complementary Medicine, Bea has her own private massage
practice in Evergreen plus is a therapist at TallGrass Day Spa.
She believes that we all need to take time for ourselves away
from our stress-filled lives and, in one way or another, embrace
self-care & healthy choices every day. Massage can help quiet
your mind so you can listen to your body.
Autumn Nation, CMT
Autumn graduated from Colorado School of Healing Arts in March of
2012. Autumn was trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage,
and trigger point therapy. She also has experience with Reiki,
Healing Touch, and Prenatal massage. In addition to working at
Kaiser Permanente, Autumn shares a private practice in Parker. She
is also a Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years collective
experience in health care. Autumn's goal is to integrate her
western and eastern medicine backgrounds in order to provide a
client-centered holistic approach to healthcare.
Samantha Hemesath, CMT
Samantha graduated from the Denver School of Massage Therapy in
August 2012. The massage modalities Samantha provides are Swedish,
Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular, Pre-Natal, Sports/Movement and
Structure, Cranial Sacral, Reflexology, Russian, and Trigger Point
Pressure Release. In addition to working at the Kaiser Permanente
Center for Complementary Medicine, Samantha has her own private
massage practice in Capital Hill and is a massage therapist at
Massage Envy as well. She believes in affordable, consistent, and
genuine therapy for all ages. She strongly believes in the unique
wellness plan per client when using the communicative combination
of the chiropractor, physical therapist, nutritionist,
acupuncturist, and massage therapist. Samantha believes that it
is imperative to recognize and utilize natural meditation
along with the human touch in order to balance the mind,
body, and spirit within yourself.
Sierra Robinson, CMT
Sierra graduated from Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado
in August 2012 with 900 hours training in Integrative Massage
Techniques, with emphasis on ameliorating stress syndromes,
myoskeletal imbalance, neuromuscular dysfunction and soft tissue
impairment. Her training included Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue
Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Spa techniques, Hot Stone Massage,
and Prenatal Massage. Sierra graduated
from the University of Denver in 2001 with a BA in International
Studies and Spanish, which led her to a career in Bilingual
Customer Service and Healthcare advocacy for people with
Disabilities. Sierra is a Certified Yoga Teacher and graduated from
the Pranayoga Ayurveda Mandala in 2004 with 265 hours of
Contemplative Hatha Yoga training. Sierra also became passionate
about the healing power of Essential Oils in 2006 and is trained in
Raindrop Therapy. Sierra believes in an integrative approach to
wellness and likes to include self-care recommendations and yoga
postures to help her massage clients find relief from
pain.
