Shari Engkvist, CNT, HHP, LMT
Shari Engkvist is a Certified Nutrition Therapist. She
received her degree from the Nutrition Therapy Institute
of Denver, CO, and continues to further her education by
taking advanced courses and seminars. In addition to her nutrition
practice, she graduated from the School of Healing Arts
in San Diego, CA in 1989 as a Holistic Health Practitioner and has
been practicing massage for over 20 years. She has a B.S. in
Corporate Health and Fitness and a certification as a
Hatha Yoga instructor.
She currently also has a private practice in
Centennial. She feels very privileged to be able to practice
what she is so passionate about. Her goal is to help others achieve
and maintain their optimal health and vitality.
Her personal challenges with autoimmune disease and food
allergies led her to pursue her career in Nutrition
Therapy. She has experienced firsthand what changing your diet
and lifestyle can do for your overall health. The road to
wellness isn't straight, clear, or predictable - it's a path you
forge for yourself. She believes that balancing physical, mental
and emotional health is an important key to
your success. One of the things that brings her the greatest
satisfaction is being able to personally educate and guide each
client through their journey to wellness.

Tracy McCubbin, MD
Dr. Tracy McCubbin graduated from the University of Louisville
School of Medicine. She relocated to Colorado and completed her
residency training in Emergency Medicine at Denver Health and
Hospitals. Having fallen in love with the sun, the snow and
the mountains, she stayed in Denver and joined the Colorado
Permanente Medical Group. Dr. McCubbin was instrumental in
combining the Kaiser Permanente After Hours Care and the ESJH
Emergency Departments, creating a high volume, high acuity
Emergency Department staffed by Board Certified ED physicians. She
served as Assistant Medical Director from 1997-2008. In this
position, she created the community hospital rotation for the ED
residents at Denver Health. Dr. McCubbin is affiliate faculty
in the department of surgery at the University of Colorado School
of Medicine. She is active in teaching and research in the field of
venous thromboembolic disease and has published in Annals of
Emergency Medicine and Thrombosis and Haemostasis.
She has lectured nationally on a variety of topics.
In addition, Dr. McCubbin became Chairman of the Complementary
and Alternative Medicine Advisory Board for Kaiser Permanente,
Colorado Region in 1999. She is founder and Medical Director of the
Centers for Complementary Medicine, KP Colorado. Opening her first
clinic in August of 2003, she now directs four locations.
Dr. McCubbin is a recent graduate of the Integrative Medicine
fellowship at the University of Arizona School of Medicine and now
has a full time practice at the Centers for Complementary Medicine
Midtown location.
